The Vamoose Combi-Rail is a heavy-duty UK-manufactured aluminium multi-rail that acts as a slick receiver for awning beads while functioning as a rain gutter to keep your side door dry.

The included lightweight canopy is crafted from high-performance PU-coated polyester with a 5,000mm hydrostatic head rating, offering excellent waterproof protection from the elements.

The canopy features a Dual Kador edge (5mm and 7mm) that slides instantly into the Combi-Rail's C-channel slot, creating a clean overhead shelter with a full 2.5m projection.

How do I know whether to choose the SWB or LWB version?
You need to pick the version that matches the length of your van. If you drive a short wheelbase van (often called SWB or L1), choose the SWB kit. If you drive the long wheelbase version (often called LWB, Maxi, or L2), choose the LWB option. The sun canopy itself is 1.7m wide and fits perfectly on both lengths, but the Vamoose rail is pre-cut specifically to run the full length of your vehicle's roofline.

How does the Combi-Rail fit onto my van, and does it require professional installation?
Yes, the multi-rail part of this kit does require a professional fit. The Vamoose Combi-Rail is installed on the nearside (left hand side) of the vehicle using the included stainless steel mechanical fixings alongside a super-strong poly bonding adhesive. Measuring and correct surface preparation are key to ensuring a secure, completely watertight seal.

How long does it take to set up the sun canopy once the rail is fitted?
Setting up the canopy is fast and effortless. It takes about 10–15 minutes (even quicker with two people). You simply slide the canopy's built-in Dual Kador edge directly into the Combi-Rail's C-channel receiver, extend the two telescopic aluminium poles to your preferred height, and stake it down securely using the guy ropes and pegs provided.
